With season 4 premiering on Monday, September 13th, US Magazine has counted down the show’s top 10 moments that made you say “OMG!”

10. Queen B Dethroned
As Blair (Leighton Meester) deals with a nasty pregnancy rumor, her clique gives her the cold shoulder upon learning that she cheated on her boyfriend Nate (Chace Crawford) with his best friend Chuck (Ed Westwick).

9. Return of Mr. van der Woodsen
After Serena (Blake Lively) combed through Europe searching for her father (William Baldwin), he resurfaces to treat her mother’s cancer. One catch? He’s more interested in rekindling things with his ex-wife, who’s currently married to Rufus (Matthew Settle).

8. Jenny Dates a Drug Dealer
Careful, Little J! When Jenny (Taylor Momsen) begins dating drug-dealer Damien (Kevin Zegers) behind her father’s back, the troubled teen soon begins peddling drugs herself.

7. Chuck and Blair’s Limo Lust
After Blair seduces Chuck with a sexy striptease at the burlesque nightclub Victrola, the two — finally! — hook up in a limo on their way home.

6. College Catfight
Hell hath no fury like a frenemy scorned! When Yale University courts Serena, Blair thinks her BFF is stealing her dream. Her response? A full-on girl fight at a university-sponsored party, shocking the Yale administration.

5. Three’s a Crowd
Fearing they’re missing out on the college experience, Olivia (Hilary Duff) hatches a plan with Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) to have a threesome. One problem: after the deed is done, Dan develops feelings for Vanessa, creating a messy love triangle.

4. Murder Mystery
When Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) returns to the Upper East Side and begins to torment Serena, Blair confronts her nervous BFF — and got the most shocking news of Season 2. “I killed someone,” Serena reveals coldly.

(Actually, it was S1 and Serena was a hot mess when she told Blair, Chuck and Nate. I wouldn’t say she was “cold” about it.)

3. Lil’ J Jumps into Bed with Chuck
A vulnerable and misguided Jenny calls losing her virginity to Chuck (who tried to rape her three years ago) “a mistake” after her supposed paramour does the deed and runs back to Blair in season three.

2. Gossiping for Two
Baby on board! Trachtenberg’s Georgina Sparks returned to the CW series in a big way — announcing on the third season finale she is pregnant — with Dan’s baby.

1. Bullet Wounds
Could a single shot silence Chuck Bass for good? In the final moments of season three’s finale, Chuck was cornered in an alley as thieves attempted to steal the engagement sparkler he’d intended to give Blair — that is, until she found out he slept with Jenny!

Another season finale. Another blind item mystery solved. I can now confirm that Georgina’s top-secret baby bump — revealed in the closing minutes of tonight’s Gossip Girl‘s finale — was the out-of-the-blue pregnancy shocker at the center of my March 22 brain teaser. But the news that Dan’s going to be a papa was just one of several OMG! moments in the season-ender (Chuck shot! Dan still loves Serena! Jenny banished to suburbia!). Luckily, exec producer Stephanie Savage agreed to a little post-climax Q&A to help make sense of what went down and preview what’s to come.

My first question: Were those Taylor Momsen’s real tears?
STEPHANIE SAVAGE: Yes. I wasn’t there on the day they shot that, but that’s what it really looks like if a girl with raccoon eyes cries that much. There was nothing we could do.

How long will Jenny be gone for?
SAVAGE: I’d rather not say.

Will she be a changed person when she returns?
SAVAGE: Yes. What happens in the finale has a real impact on Jenny.

Safe to say Blair/Chuck are far from over?
SAVAGE: That is correct.

But how does she forgive him for sleeping with Jenny?
SAVAGE: [Chuck getting shot] is significant enough that it creates some space for them to, if not exactly rekindle their romance right away, at least find a humanity in each other. She doesn’t forgive him immediately. But it’s a significant enough event to recalculate things.

So the Jenny thing is not irreparable?
SAVAGE: It’s Chuck and Blair. It’s always going to be a wild ride. And that’s the thing. I believe personally that their love for each other is really strong. They are going to encounter incredible obstacles over the course of their time together and the question is whether or not they’re strong enough to make it through.

It’s been announced that Ed Westwick will be traveling to Paris with Blake Lively and Leighton Meester to shoot scenes for the season premiere. Does that mean Chuck was wearing a bullet-proof vest or something?
SAVAGE: Ed will definitely be filming in Paris with us this summer. That’s all I can confirm. Don’t rule out flashbacks. And we’ve been visited by ghosts before.

Let’s talk about the baby bombshell. Was it always your plan for Georgina to come back pregnant?
SAVAGE: Yes. We did the math on her leaving town. We sent her away and we were like, “Hmm… that could work out well.” The last gesture I made to [Michelle] when she went away was I mimed a belly bump so she had something to look forward to when she came back.

Does Mercy‘s cancellation mean we’ll get more Georgina next season?
SAVAGE: It certainly opens the door to expanding her role. We just got the news a few days ago so we’re still in process of figuring out how it affects our plans. We love Michelle and Georgie and would welcome both of them spending much more time with us.

Dan was planning to follow Serena to Paris when he was interrupted by Georgina. Safe to say the Dan/Serena love story is…
SAVAGE: … reactivated. Sorting through that is going to become a larger story.

This week on Gossip Girl, Jenny Humphrey learns that all that glitters is not gold and plays the part of poor little rich girl (all whilst scarring us with her nightmare-inducing Rorschach-blot hair). Why so disillusioned, Little J? We experience a blast from the past as Dr. van der Woodsen disappointedly leaves Serena and her boobs in the Upper East Side, clearing the way for her stepbrother/ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Blair finally goes on her first “real” date with Nate’s doppelgänger (those tacky plaid shirts were not merely coincidental), all while doing some hard-core sleuthing. Scooby and the gang have nothing on the scheming triumvirate of Chuck, Blair, and Jenny. Now for this week’s best comments, as compiled by Darce:

Realer Than Serena Refusing to Believe How Terrible Her Dad Is
• Lily drank suspicious looking green apple juice all throughout her pregnancy with Serena that sketchy Dr. Will, who is not above giving patients unnecessary medications, got for her. This explains everything! Plus 2 — JNP1013

• Even if Nate can’t recognize it as common sense, he should at least know from Dawson’s Creek that sending your girlfriend’s father to prison is a sure-fire way to get dumped. Minus only 2, because it’s a little before his time, and …he’s Nate. — pretential_energy

• Why does Eric never go to these black tie galas? I mean I know there’s always excuses; I hate my Baldwin daddy for abandoning me, I have a date with bi boy, I’m macking on some Japanese ass, but this time there was nothing. — kdow3

OMP! GOSSIP GIRL GOES TO PARIS! The first two Episodes of Season Four will be filmed in Paris

GOSSIP GIRL is jetting off to Paris to kick start season four in the City of Light.

Series stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick will be filming on location in Paris in early July for the first two episodes of the season.

Season four premiere of GOSSIP GIRL – Serena van der Woodsen (Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Meester) are enjoying their grand and romantic summer in Paris.  But when a friend from home mysteriously appears on the scene, they’ll be in for a few OMG surprises!

“Paris has always been the ultimate extension of our GOSSIP GIRL world — the home of high fashion, Michelin star restaurants, chic night clubs, and Blair’s favorite sweet (macaroons, of course!),” says executive producer Stephanie Savage.  “We’re thrilled to be able to share with our fans that this fall GOSSIP GIRL is going to Paris.  We hope that they’ll come along with Blair, Serena and Chuck for the first two episodes of season four.”
