Meester, 24, recently told Yahoo! Shine that Blair’s clothes “define a big part of her.”

“What I’ve learned from the designer of the show is that you can mix designer with less expensive brands and mix it up,” she said. “Of course my character has, like, really great taste, but sometimes they’ll throw in something from H&M, and it looks great. So there are really no rules.”

She’s not the only character mixing high and low. Sarah Jessica Parker rocks a $200,000 necklace — and a $48 top! — in Sex and the City 2 (out May 27).
