The Beauty Book is a hard cover coffee table book with images of your favorite Celebrities, Musicians and Top models, all the monies raised from sales will go to Brain Cancer via the Charity called SNOG, this charitable organization is non- profit and relies on donations and fund raising, I know this because I lost a dear friend Natalie Sattler to brain cancer last September 2008, she was 35 years old.

SNOG is a charitable organisation, which aims to improve the management of brain tumors through targeted research, information and constant scrutiny of treatment options. The group supports the efforts of a multidisciplinary team of Doctors including Neurosurgeons, Oncologists and Pathologists. SNOG is co-ordinating research into various radiation and drug protocols used in advance treatments of maglignant tumors. The Group is involved inresearch projects that span the epidemiology, diagnostic images, surgical approached, tumor biology and drug trials.

The Beauty Book is for awareness and to raise money to help support people with this awful disease. 17,000 Americans and 2000 Australians are diagnosed with Brain tumors every year, 280,000 Worldwide. Brain Cancer is the leading cause in cancer-related death’s in patients younger than age 35.

Another season finale. Another blind item mystery solved. I can now confirm that Georgina’s top-secret baby bump — revealed in the closing minutes of tonight’s Gossip Girl‘s finale — was the out-of-the-blue pregnancy shocker at the center of my March 22 brain teaser. But the news that Dan’s going to be a papa was just one of several OMG! moments in the season-ender (Chuck shot! Dan still loves Serena! Jenny banished to suburbia!). Luckily, exec producer Stephanie Savage agreed to a little post-climax Q&A to help make sense of what went down and preview what’s to come.

My first question: Were those Taylor Momsen’s real tears?
STEPHANIE SAVAGE: Yes. I wasn’t there on the day they shot that, but that’s what it really looks like if a girl with raccoon eyes cries that much. There was nothing we could do.

How long will Jenny be gone for?
SAVAGE: I’d rather not say.

Will she be a changed person when she returns?
SAVAGE: Yes. What happens in the finale has a real impact on Jenny.

Safe to say Blair/Chuck are far from over?
SAVAGE: That is correct.

But how does she forgive him for sleeping with Jenny?
SAVAGE: [Chuck getting shot] is significant enough that it creates some space for them to, if not exactly rekindle their romance right away, at least find a humanity in each other. She doesn’t forgive him immediately. But it’s a significant enough event to recalculate things.

So the Jenny thing is not irreparable?
SAVAGE: It’s Chuck and Blair. It’s always going to be a wild ride. And that’s the thing. I believe personally that their love for each other is really strong. They are going to encounter incredible obstacles over the course of their time together and the question is whether or not they’re strong enough to make it through.

It’s been announced that Ed Westwick will be traveling to Paris with Blake Lively and Leighton Meester to shoot scenes for the season premiere. Does that mean Chuck was wearing a bullet-proof vest or something?
SAVAGE: Ed will definitely be filming in Paris with us this summer. That’s all I can confirm. Don’t rule out flashbacks. And we’ve been visited by ghosts before.

Let’s talk about the baby bombshell. Was it always your plan for Georgina to come back pregnant?
SAVAGE: Yes. We did the math on her leaving town. We sent her away and we were like, “Hmm… that could work out well.” The last gesture I made to [Michelle] when she went away was I mimed a belly bump so she had something to look forward to when she came back.

Does Mercy‘s cancellation mean we’ll get more Georgina next season?
SAVAGE: It certainly opens the door to expanding her role. We just got the news a few days ago so we’re still in process of figuring out how it affects our plans. We love Michelle and Georgie and would welcome both of them spending much more time with us.

Dan was planning to follow Serena to Paris when he was interrupted by Georgina. Safe to say the Dan/Serena love story is…
SAVAGE: … reactivated. Sorting through that is going to become a larger story.

Why so disillusioned, Little J? We experience a blast from the past as Dr. van der Woodsen disappointedly leaves Serena and her boobs in the Upper East Side, clearing the way for her stepbrother/ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Blair finally goes on her first “real” date with Nate’s doppelgänger (those tacky plaid shirts were not merely coincidental), all while doing some hard-core sleuthing. OMP! GOSSIP GIRL GOES TO PARIS! The first two Episodes of Season Four will be filmed in Paris

GOSSIP GIRL is jetting off to Paris to kick start season four in the City of Light.

Series stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick will be filming on location in Paris in early July for the first two episodes of the season.

Season four premiere of GOSSIP GIRL – Serena van der Woodsen (Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Meester) are enjoying their grand and romantic summer in Paris.  But when a friend from home mysteriously appears on the scene, they’ll be in for a few OMG surprises!

“Paris has always been the ultimate extension of our GOSSIP GIRL world — the home of high fashion, Michelin star restaurants, chic night clubs, and Blair’s favorite sweet (macaroons, of course!),” says executive producer Stephanie Savage.  “We’re thrilled to be able to share with our fans that this fall GOSSIP GIRL is going to Paris.  We hope that they’ll come along with Blair, Serena and Chuck for the first two episodes of season four.”

Gossip Girl star and musician Leighton Meester says she gets inspiration for her music from her love life.

“I’ve written a couple of songs about real things in my life, real heartache. I don’t feel that way now, but when I look back I’m like, ‘Oh wow, I really remember that’, and that puts it in perspective so well,” the 24-year-old said.

On the personal nature of her lyrics she says: “Since I’ve written everything, people can see a window into me and how I feel about certain things.”

Meester says her album is “a mixture of the past four or five years of my life”, Popeater reports.

The performer, who plays socialite Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, recently released the single Your Love is A Drug and opened up about what she hopes listeners draw from her songs.

“If you love it, you don’t necessarily care about the commercial success of something, as long as it’s quality. That’s how I also feel about music, I just want it to be good, I want people to get a sense of me through my music.”

As Blair Waldorf on TV’s ‘Gossip Girl’ — and, oh yeah, GQ’s 2009 obsession of the year, the new face of Herbal Essence, a burgeoning pop diva and the star of several upcoming movies — Leighton Meester is on the cusp of undeniable It Girl status.

But if you really want to know the girl in primetime and the magazines, she insists you have to wait for her debut album. Hot off the release of her new single, ‘Your Love’s a Drug,’ Meester spoke with PopEater about her musical passions, why she looked to Carrie Underwood for inspiration and how the real Leighton is on display in every song she writes.

So will people get more of a sense of you through this album?
Yeah, I think so. It’s a mixture of the past four or five years of my life. The songs I’ve released so far, I’m really pleased with people’s response. They definitely reflect who I am as a person and an artist. I can appreciate all different kinds of music, but I’m having a good time making essentially pop dance music. And lyrically, since I’ve written everything, people can see a window into me and how I feel about certain things.

In writing the songs for the album was there anything you discovered about yourself that maybe surprised you?
I’ve had raw acoustic songs, pop ballads, piano ballads, super-electro very Euro-sounding … I’ve done rapping, I’ve worked with other artists, so I’ve done the full gamut and been able to discover what I really love. I’ve discovered different things about how I’ve changed over the years and this is why I like to write. If you’re a writer, as you go through something, like if you’re in love or if you’re in a relationship, you have to write it, because you’re not gonna feel that way forever. Feelings change and eventually you don’t feel that way anymore. And so it’s good to write it down and make it into something because it captures that moment so perfectly and that feeling. I’ve written a couple of songs about real things in my life, real heartache. I don’t feel that way now, but when I look back I’m like, “Oh wow, I really remember that,” and that puts it in perspective so well.

So the album gives some definite insight into your views on relationships.
All of my songs do represent at least a snapshot of what was going on in my life at the time that I wrote it.

I’ve heard ‘Your Love’s A Drug,’ and it’s such a fun, catchy song — one of those tunes you can’t get out of your head all day.
Good, thank you. Recently, I’ve been working with this band who have taken a lot of my music, especially some of the really poppy stuff, and made them very bluegrass-y. When they perform they’re electric, but they do really beautiful acoustic songs and they recomposed a bunch of my music so I’ve been playing and performing with them lately.
