“Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester is serious about her romance with actor Sebastian Stan — the couple is reportedly set to move in together.

Meester, 23, has been dating Stan since he appeared on her hit TV show last year.

Rumors surfaced in June alleging the couple was engaged, but neither star has commented on reports they are to wed.

However, the relationship is going so well, they are preparing to start hunting for an apartment together in New York, where the program is filmed.

A source tells the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six, “They are really in love. They plan on moving in together soon.”

Leighton Meester has revealed that she hopes that her on-screen romance in Gossip Girl continues.

The 23-year-old, who plays Blair Waldorf in The CW drama, told E! Online that she is enjoying playing Chuck’s girlfriend.

“I’m actually really rooting for them,” she said. “I think they’re a really interesting couple and they’re not typical at all. Everything they do is a little bit naughty!”

Discussing the future for Blair and Chuck, she added: “Right now, they do have a very special bond and it’s not normal by any means! It’s very comedic and kind of sexy. It’s very cool.”

Season three of Gossip Girl is due to premiere Monday, September 14 on The CW.

Leighton Meester has rubbished reports that surfaced in June of an old sex tape featuring her with her boyfriend being shopped around.

“[The tape] is not real,” Meester, Harper Bazaar September issue cover girl, tells the magazine. “So it makes me sort of sad. It’s unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did.
